dc.description.abstractThe Thesis encompass six Journal Articles investigating the visual perception disorder Meares-Irlen/visual stress syndrome, which affects a third of individuals diagnosed with reading disorders and around 12% of the population. Symptoms of visual stress (VS), such as distortions of text and sensitivity to fluorescent lighting, have also been identified in attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS).en
