The aim of this study was to discover through basic qualitative research how farmers, especially irrigators, learn to change to sustainable farming methods in an effort to cope with climate change. In particular, I hoped to discover evidence of a transformation of attitudes toward sustainable practices for continued natural resource management. Ideally this study might lead to further critical research which could begin to bridge the gap between farmers and environmental scientists, politicians and green consumers.en
