dc.description.abstract'Kierkegaard's Concepts' fills a gap in the existing resources in the field of Kierkegaard studies. It expands on the project begun by Niels Thulstrup and Marie Mikulová Thulstrup in some of the volumes in the series 'Bibliotheca Kierkegaardiana'. It also complements Julia Watkin's 'Historical Dictionary of Kierkegaard's Philosophy', Gregor Malantschuk's 'Nøglebegreber i Søren Kierkegaards tœnkning', and Frederick Sontag's 'A Kierkegaard Handbook'. 'Kierkegaard's Concepts' analyzes a much more extensive range of concepts than these works. It also draws on a wider international pool of scholars. It is neutral with respect to the question of what Kierkegaard (as opposed to his pseudonyms) actually thought, and it reveals the astonishing consistency m the way that many key terms, concepts and categories are deployed across the pseudonymous and non-pseudonymous works. 'Kierkegaard's Concepts' complements the other sections of the present series both conceptually and methodologically. It thereby contributes to the aim of 'Kierkegaard Research: Sources, Reception and Resources' to cover systematically the different areas and methodologies represented in Kierkegaard studies today. It provides ready access to compendious information on a wide range of concepts. It is neither a dictionary nor a thematically limited anthology of articles, but a substantial body of scholarship, which, it is hoped, will constitute the first reference point for anybody seeking lucid analyses of the key terms in Kierkegaard's authorship.en
