Title: | Novel endoperoxides: Synthesis and activity against 'Candida' species | Contributor(s): | Macreadie, Peter (author); Avery, Thomas D (author); Greatrex, Ben (author)![]() |

These endoperoxides can be prepared in high yields, in one to three steps, from inexpensive starting materials. Despite chemical and structural similarities, their inhibitory activity against 'Candida' growth varied greatly from one endoperoxide to another, and one species to another. This study of susceptibility to endoperoxide compounds presented here may lead to the development of potent new antifungal agents. | Publication Type: | Journal Article | Source of Publication: | Bioorganic & Medicinal Chemistry Letters, 16(4), p. 920-922 | Publisher: | Pergamon | Place of Publication: | United Kingdom | ISSN: | 1464-3405 0960-894X |
