Abstract: Welcome to the 2010 AGBU pig genetics workshop in Armidale, which provides a forum to discuss the latest research results with breeders and members of the Australian pig industry in general. Hopefully, participants will be inspired by discussions to adopt some new traits in their breeding programs and also to review some management procedures on farm to better accommodate the rapidly changing needs of sow genotypes.
