Abstract: Resistance by gastrointestinal nematodes in sheep to one or more of the 3 main commonly used anthelmintic families has been reported in all major sheep production areas worldwide. Four experiments were conducted to investigate the effect of controlled release intraruminal capsules on anthelmintic resistant gastrointestinal nematodes of sheep. The four experiments and a literature review are each reported as a separate chapter and the abstracts have been provided.
