Abstract:

Mauthausen concentration camp was known as "a way of life, murder was a daily event". The recently released list of surgeries performed over 5 years is not suggestive of therapeutical intention on over 5000 prisoners, but rather a way to give experience to surgeons. Analysis of the intensity of the procedures, with new classification, all suggesting and demanding a new Code of Criminal Law.
