Abstract: This report scopes the most appropriate and effective organisational structures that might be useful in 'on-ground' trials for proposed wildlife management conservancies of the 'Rangelands and Wildlife Systems Program' R&D sub-program of RIRDC. The Conservancy projects aim to develop and trial wildlife enterprises in a "learning by doing" methodology. This is an active adaptive or experimental management approach with landholders, which must occur at cross-property scales in order to achieve economies of scale of wild harvest, improved land management and biodiversity outcomes.
