Abstract
This dataset was created as part of the research process for Paul Bleakley's doctoral thesis titled The Punchline of 'the Joke': The Impact of Process Corruption in the Queensland Police Force, 1957-1987. This thesis focused on the use of process corruption by the Queensland Police Force, and the particular ways that this corruption impacted on vulnerable sub-populations in the community from the LGBTQI+ community to the political protest movement. The research was conducted at the Queensland State Archives in Runcorn, Queensland, from 2016 to 2018.
