Migration can occur both with countries or nationally impacting upon the recruitment and retention of the medical workforce. International medical graduates (IMGs) constitute 23-28 percent of the physicians in the USA, UK, Canada and Australia and lower income countries supply 40-75 percent of these IMGs. |
