Abstract: 

Nepal is a least developed country in the Himalayan Mountain range north of India. Its development is hampered by a lack of easy accessibility due to the rugged terrain. This chapter discusses the challenges of accessibility for the development of rural municipalities as they struggle to meet the sustainable development goals.
