Abstract
Survival Study - contains individual pig records for survival, birthweight, fostering and weaning details and parentage. Purebred and crossbred animals were recorded for survival and other traits form birth at a commercial nucleus herd (Rivalea) in Corowa. This dataset provided basis for identifying the non-genetic and genetic factors that affect piglet survival.

Immune Pilot Study - contains the antibody and cell mediated immune responses of a small subset of mature boars, collected at a commercial AI Centre (Rivalea) in Corowa. This data was used to develop immune phenotype measures to be used in a bigger study.

Immune Phenotype Study - contains the antibody and cell mediated immune responses of mature boars collected at a commercial AI Centre (Rivalea) in Corowa, along with each boar's survival breeding values. This data allowed the relationship between immune phenotype measures and survival BVs to be established.
