Abstract
<p>The purpose of this chapter is to indicate how initial teacher preparation programmes can begin to prepare early childhood teachers to incorporate digital technologies into their teaching practice by paying attention to core practices such as planning for, observing and documenting young children's digital play with digital technologies.</p>
