Abstract:

Inclusion, as part of a promise to leave no one behind, lies at the heart of the United Nations (2015) Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) (Waltham, 2018). Inclusive education can be defined as access to "fully participate in learning, alongside their similar-aged peers, supported by reasonable adjustments and teaching strategies tailored to meet their individual needs" (Queensland Department of Education, 2022).
