Abstract:

Introduction: The injury aetiology model was recently updated to reflect external-workloads (training and playing loads) contributing alongside modifiable, and non-modifiable factors. The aims of this study were two-fold: (1) identify the association between external-workloads and injury risk in the subsequent week; and (2) establish the effectiveness of workload variables in establishing injury risk.
