Abstract:

Background: In recent years, women's rugby league participation has grown with a 29 % increase in registered women players reported for 2018. However, there is currently no research investigating the physical demands of women's rugby league. The aim of this study was to quantify the absolute and relative physical demands of women's rugby league match-play during the semi-professional 2018 Australian National Championships.
