Abstract:

Introduction & aims: Despite increasing participation and professionalisation of the game, the advancement of appropriate female rugby league developmental frameworks is hindered by the paucity of applied research. The study aims were to: 1) identify positional groups within National Rugby League Women's (NRLW) match-play; and 2) describe the peak locomotor demands of NRLW match-play.
