Abstract

Australia has a long history of both innovation and technological responses to contemporary problems and has been widely regarded as an early adopter of technological developments, with many forms of technology from wi-fi, broadband and even automated homes having become the norm. This article explores how investors can weigh up the legal risks of investing in an Australian enterprise, and includes a case study to illustrate the key considerations that foreign investors should take into account when considering Australia as a destination for investment
