After one of the Gender and Diversity in Organisations (GDO) stream sessions, the three of us were excited about the quality of the work we were seeing presented. We considered how we could move the work from the confines of a conference stream, to reach a larger audience. With the revamped 'Journal of Management & Organization (ISSN 1833-3672) having just been launched, we thought it timely to plan for a special issue, where we could highlight the relevance of the GDO scholarship to the wider academy. Hence the theme 'Profitable margins: Gender and Diversity informing management and organizational studies'.||Publication Type:||Journal Article||Source of Publication:||Journal of Management & Organization, 15(5), p. 544-548||Publisher:||eContent Management Pty Ltd||Place of Publication:||Maleny, Australia||ISSN:||1833-3672||Field of Research (FOR):||150310 Organisation and Management Theory||Socio-Economic Outcome Codes:||910402 Management||HERDC Category Description:||C4 Letter of Note||Other Links:||http://jmo.e-contentmanagement.com/archives/vol/15/issue/5/article/3096/profitable-margins||Statistics to Oct 2018:||Visitors: 76
