|Title:||Sustainability: the Missing Ingredient in Strategy||Contributor(s):||Bonn, Ingrid (author); Fisher, Josephine A (author)||Publication Date:||2008||Handle Link:||https://hdl.handle.net/1959.11/4412||Abstract:||While strategy has been addressed in the literature since the 1960s and sustainability has received a lot of attention recently, there has been little attention paid to the question of how sustainability considerations might be integrated into an organisation's strategy. In this paper a framework that outlines how sustainability can be addressed strategically in organisations is introduced and analysed. It is argued that all three dimensions of sustainability- economic, environmental and social- must be integrated into all aspects of an organisation's strategy and need to be addressed on an ongoing basis.||Publication Type:||Conference Publication||Conference Details:||22nd Annual Australian and New Zealand Academy of Management (ANZAM) Conference: Managing in the Pacific Century, University of Auckland, New Zealand, 2-5 December, 2008||Source of Publication:||Managing in the Pacific Century: Proceedings of the 22nd Annual Australian and New Zealand Academy of Management (ANZAM) Conference||Publisher:||Promaco Conventions Pty Ltd for the ANZAM 2008 Conference||Place of Publication:||New Zealand||Field of Research (FOR):||150399 Business and Management not elsewhere classified||Socio-Economic Objective (SEO):||910402 Management||Peer Reviewed:||Yes||HERDC Category Description:||E1 Refereed Scholarly Conference Publication||Other Links:||http://nla.gov.au/anbd.bib-an44241450
