Abstract: Advanced genetic and reproductive technologies have been slow to develop practical implementation, but prospects for high impact still prevail. Improved design and delivery technologies deserve high priority. Better supply chain signals will stimulate uptake of both old and new technologies, and impact favourably on directions for genetic change.
