Abstract |
This report is a companion to Partnerships in ICT Learning: Full report. It provides 'the detailed reports from the eight state and territory projects that were a fundamental component of the Partnerships in ICT Learning' (PICTL) study and the report from the National PICTL Forum. The PICTL study was designed to determine how classroom-based professional learning projects can be collaboratively designed to incorporate pre-service teachers, teachers and university staff. The eight state and territory projects focused on quality uses of ICT, within new curriculum reforms and pedagogical agendas, which influence designs for professional learning for all stakeholders. The projects were conducted within each of the states and territories by separate research teams. The state and territory projects were not expected to function in isolation. A PICTL Professional Community was developed to host professional conversations about the study. The final report from the PICTL study is a synthesis of the experiences and knowledge gained from the state and territory projects and from the broader professional knowledge of the stakeholders in these projects. In particular, the PICTL study management team facilitated conversations with and between state and territory project teams, to encourage responses to research questions from a broader perspective than the particular state or territory project. The PICTL study culminated in the National PICTL Forum, where presentations from the eight state and territory projects provided a significant contribution towards stimulating discussions to frame final recommendations. The report prepared at the conclusion of the forum follows the eight state and territory reports.
