Abstract: This excellent text provides very comprehensive and insightful coverage of how the concept of sustainability relates to the rural Australian context. Furthermore, its publication is particularly timely as it coincides with the beginning of UNESCO's Decade of Education for Sustainable Development. The book is an edited volume comprising fourteen chapters, organised into the following three major sections.
