Abstract: Drawing from the entrepreneurship and business education literature, this article reviews the extent to which group work in entrepreneurship courses reflects the processes involved in real world venture teamwork. Limitations in the classroom processes of group work are discussed and recommendations suggested for making the classroom experiences of more use to later venture creation.
