Abstract: It is well known that large numbers of smallholders in tropical countries are highly vulnerable to climate change because of high exposure combined with high sensitivity and low coping capacity. The focus of this study is on such smallholders. This report describes a modelling study that considers farmers’ cropping decisions under climate change as they respond to reduced yields and uncertain prices.
