Data production for ‘Articulate Science’ was by a one-to-one semi-structured interview in which the participant was asked to draw a variety of sketch graphs and diagrams as he or she elaborated on aspects of their development as scientists. The use of these diagrams and graphs proved successful. We explore some of the ways in which they were used by participants and researchers during the interview. We give examples of participant responses and feedback about the interview. | Publication Type: | Conference Publication | Conference Details: | CAR Symposium 2015: Contemporary Approaches to Research in Mathematics, Science, Health and Environmental Education Symposium, Melbourne, Australia, 25th - 26th November, 2015 | Source of Publication: | Proceedings of the Contemporary Approaches to Research in Mathematics, Science, Health and Environmental Education, p. 1-5 | Publisher: | Science Technology Engineering Mathematics and Environmental Education Research Group (STEME) | Place of Publication: | Melbourne, Australia | Fields of Research (FoR) 2008: | 160807 Sociological Methodology and Research Methods 160808 Sociology and Social Studies of Science and Technology |
