Title: | Formalisation of Problem and Domain Definition for Agent Oriented Smart Factory (AOSF) | Contributor(s): | Ud Din, Fareed (author) ; Henskens, Frans (author); Paul, David (author) ; Wallis, Mark (author) | Publication Date: | 2018 | DOI: | 10.1109/TENCONSpring.2018.8691967 | Handle Link: | https://hdl.handle.net/1959.11/29367 | Abstract: | Industry 4.0 is revolutionising recent industrial setups. Literature has examined the idea of Smart Factory under the umbrella of Industry 4.0 extensively, but further research into the applicability of such frameworks for Small to Medium Size Enterprises (SMEs) is still required. To help address this issue, the Agent-Oriented Smart Factory (AOSF) framework focuses on a multi-agent architecture for end-to-end Supply Chain (SC) in SMEs. This paper presents a Cyber Physical System (CPS) based extension to the general AOSF framework and design heuristics for problem and domain definition of Agent Oriented Storage and Retrieval (AOSR) warehouse system using Multi-Agent Hierarchical Task Networking (MA-HTN) planning formalism. | Publication Type: | Conference Publication | Conference Details: | Tensymp 2018: 2018 IEEE Region Ten Symposium, Sydney, Australia, 4th - 6th July, 2018 | Source of Publication: | Proceedings of the 2018 IEEE Region Ten Symposium (Tensymp), p. 265-270 | Publisher: | Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) | Place of Publication: | Piscataway, United States of America | Fields of Research (FoR) 2008: | 080101 Adaptive Agents and Intelligent Robotics 080110 Simulation and Modelling 080501 Distributed and Grid Systems |
