This dataset was compiled by Dr Richard Tuffin during the ARC-funded project, Landscapes of Production and Punishment: the Tasman Peninsula 1830-77. It represents an accounting of the convict population on the peninsula, drawn from a variety of primary sources. This is an active dataset and may be updated as new data is sourced.
