Abstract
The League of Islanders was a federation of Aegean islands in the Hellenistic period, epigraphically attested as koinon ton nesioton or hoi nesiotai. The history of the league is known exclusively from inscriptions, which often are fragmentary and difficult to date (the sources are in Buraselis 1982: 180-7). This league almost coincided geographically with the modern Cycladic Islands (except maybe for Delos).
