When you wish to do the following, how confident are you that you can: • Help another person change a negative emotion to a positive emotion? • Express joy when good things happen? • Regulate your own emotions when under pressure? • Help another person regulate emotions after he has suffered a loss? • Not be discouraged by criticism? • Use positive emotions to generate good ideas? • Recognize what emotion another person is experiencing by looking at her facial expression? • Get over irritation for wrongs you have experienced? • Cheer yourself up when an unpleasant event has happened? • Enter into a mood that best suits the occasion? Your answers to these questions reflect your emotional self-efficacy.
