Abstract: This case is primarily about the extent to, and the manner in, which we listen to children when making decisions that affect their lives. It is also about how the use of the Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction ('the Hague Convention') reconciles the interests of children with the recognition of the orders of overseas courts as its main purpose.
