Online resources for developing a range of dimensions of literary engagement are illustrated including the contexts of composition/genesis of stories, invitation/enticement to read, appreciation/celebration, interpretation/response, and adjunct creation/composition based on source literary texts. Examples of innovative learning experiences for students are discussed and the management of such learning experiences in extended programs of classroom work is also addressed.||Publication Type:||Journal Article||Source of Publication:||Words'Worth, 40(1), p. 3-11||Publisher:||AATE: Australian Association for the Teaching of English||Place of Publication:||Queensland, Australia||Field of Research (FOR):||130204 English and Literacy Curriculum and Pedagogy (excl LOTE, ESL and TESOL)||Socio-Economic Outcome Codes:||930203 Teaching and Instruction Technologies||HERDC Category Description:||C2 Non-Refereed Article in a Scholarly Journal||Other Links:||http://www.aate.org.au/index.php?id=31||Statistics to Oct 2018:||Visitors: 232
