Abstract: | This essay documents and analyses the work of internationally renowned actor Nick Tate, from his childhood surrounded by theatrical activity, through his early years as a star of the television adaptation of My Brother Jack to his extraordinary award-winning portrayal of Brother Victor in The Devil's Playground.
