Title: | Editorial: Sexuality and sexual health: Nurses' crucial role | Contributor(s): | East, Leah (author) ; Jackson, Debra (author) | Publication Date: | 2013 | DOI: | 10.5172/conu.2013.44.1.47 | Handle Link: | https://hdl.handle.net/1959.11/20372 | Abstract: | In a recent editorial in this journal, Hayter, Jackson, Carter, and Nyamathi (2012) proposed three developmental phases of addressing sexuality in nursing care. These authors went on to highlight the need to raise questions, and to generate and draw upon evidence in ways that can contribute to enhanced care and improved outcomes in this challenging area of health care practice (Hayter et al., 2012). There is no area in which this is more necessary than in the area of sexually transmitted infections (STIs). | Publication Type: | Journal Article | Source of Publication: | Contemporary Nurse, 44(1), p. 47-49 | Publisher: | Routledge | Place of Publication: | Australia | ISSN: | 1839-3535 1037-6178 |
