Abstract
This book is a compilation of of the recollections of various individuals who have been associated with Wright College and/or Wright Village at the University of New England, Armidale NSW. As was the case ten years ago, the more than three thousand members of the Wright Community are all deeply appreciative of the efforts of the many who have given generously of their time, recollections and ongoing fellowship to make this book a proud reality. Like its earlier manifestation, Wright on Education (2006) - and much of which is still 'very evident' in this revised volume - it is a combination of record, reflection, of a willing sharing, and a pride which indeed 'shines through' - as our College motto ever enjoins us. ... Another aspect of this anniversary and its book is our deliberate emphasis on heritage, it being cultural, moral and environmental, and this is captured in various aspects of our commitment to recording our proud college's and membership's past achievements. Savouring our landscape, further electing personal service in many parts of the world, and hugely enjoying our experiences here as Red Men and Women, for we bear the challenging responsibilities of being 'first in New England', we celebrate past achievements and welcome our own and humanity's further challenges.
