Abstract |
This elegant volume may, with real justice, be called the one dictionary and desk companion that everyone needs now and will enjoy, or very soon do so in its assistance in their struggles with the World Wide Web. The reasons for this confident claim are fairly obvious-- brilliantly clear layout, definitions and terse item bibliographies;- shrewd selection of innovatory terms/buzz words of the Internet era;- 101 elegantly phrased and luminous and informed definitions and- descriptions, each with a succinct bibliography; and- recommended strategies for coping with each of the issues raised.
