English Abstract: This conference publication aims to present the content and methods of informal educational assessment which can form the basis of effective instruction for students with autism. This paper addresses the challenges and difficulties faced by educators in early childhood and primary education in their efforts to prepare individualised education plans for their students with high functioning autism. Informal educational assessment is essential for the systematic evaluation of the special and multiple needs of able students with autism. Moreover, this paper analyses the critical prerequisites for the efficient assessment, describing its types and contexts for this group of students. Also, the importance the interpretation of the assessment information is highlighted, so that teachers can identify appropriate instructional goals and instructional arrangements for the successful individualised instruction of students with high functioning autism in preschool and early primary education.
