Title: | Review of 'The Summoning of Everyman' ed. Geoffrey Cooper and Christopher Wortham: Nedlands, W.A. University of Western Australia Press, 1980, pp.vi + 72. | Contributor(s): | Ryan, John S (author) | Publication Date: | 1981 | DOI: | 10.1179/aulla.1981.56.1.008 | Handle Link: | https://hdl.handle.net/1959.11/18070 | Abstract: | Some twenty years ago A. C. Cawley, then Brisbane-based, prepared an edition of 'Everyman' from the Manchester University Press, following upon his 1956 slightly modernised acting text of the play. There is now issued from Perth a handsome lithographic edition and study guide which is priced at a fraction of the cost of its predecessor. Since this new work, at least in this country, will probably replace Cawley's, it is interesting to note the areas of difference between the two. | Publication Type: | Review | Source of Publication: | AUMLA, 56(1), p. 239-240 | Publisher: | Australasian Universities Language and Literature Association | Place of Publication: | Australia | ISSN: | 0001-2793 | Fields of Research (FoR) 2008: | 220401 Christian Studies (incl Biblical Studies and Church History) 220499 Religion and Religious Studies not elsewhere classified 220404 Jewish Studies |
