Abstract: In this chapter, we consider educational practices that lead children's authentic learning. We focus these ideas on children about three to five years of age. Our philosophy, built on an overarching education for sustainability (EfS) approach, recognises children as active, powerful, contributing agents in their own learning, especially when collaborating with others.
