Abstract |
How can communication problems - should they arise in the midst of institutional encounters - be identified and treated from the theoretical and methodological perspective of conversation analysis (CA)? In what ways can the findings of CA be fruitfully exploited to promote people's awareness of their own interactional practices and to enhance the effectiveness of professional communication? These are the central questions that this edited volume sets out to address. |
