Abstract: Professor Mark Lunney will mark his return to the University of New England (from the Australian National University) by delivery of a lecture entitled "Fleming's 'Law of Torts': Australian-made or foreign import? Australia's role in making the 'King' of Torts". This lecture will provide new insights into the life and work of Professor J.G. Fleming, whose text book, 'The Law of Torts' is an Australian classic. The Lecturer will be introduced by Professor Michael Stuckey, Head of the UNE School of Law.
