Title: | The Australian Academic Profession: a first overview | Contributor(s): | Coates, H (author); Goedegebuure, Leo (author); Van Der Lee, Jeannet Jaantje (author); Meek, Vincent Lynn (author) | Publication Date: | 2008 | Handle Link: | https://hdl.handle.net/1959.11/11342 | Abstract: | This paper provides a first preliminary analysis of the Australian CAP survey results. The Australian survey closed in early December 2007. Given the time necessary to clean and organise the database, there obviously has been little time to engage in in-depth statistical interrogation of the data. Nonetheless, even a cursory glance at the responses indicates a very rich and interesting data set that will lend itself to on-going analysis over the next months if not years. | Publication Type: | Conference Publication | Conference Details: | International Conference on The Changing Academic Profession in International Comparative and Quantitative Perspectives, Hiroshima, Japan, 27th - 30th January, 2008 | Source of Publication: | The Changing Academic Profession in International Comparative and Quantitative Perspectives: Report of the International Conference on the Changing Academic Profession Project, p. 179-202 | Publisher: | Hiroshima University, Research Institute for Higher Education | Place of Publication: | Hiroshima, Japan | Fields of Research (FoR) 2008: | 160506 Education Policy | Socio-Economic Objective (SEO) 2008: | 930299 Teaching and Instruction not elsewhere classified | HERDC Category Description: | E2 Non-Refereed Scholarly Conference Publication | Publisher/associated links: | http://trove.nla.gov.au/work/37780901 http://en.rihe.hiroshima-u.ac.jp/pl_default_2.php?bid=95244 |
