Abstract: • The Leximancer program was created by Dr. Andrew Smith at University of Queensland (UQ). • The software is being and developed and refined further by UQ and UNE for commercialisation out of UQ. • UNE is the first testing site for the program outside UQ. • There are two Versions. Leximancer Version 3 is a 'Beta' prototype that is still unstable. I will be introducing you to Version 2.25 which is quite stable. • UNE has a Licence for staff and students to use both. This Licence allows us to share information with other potential users of the software - such as UWS.
