| Abstract |
Alex is a psychologist and a credentialed eating disorder clinician with experience in public health, aged care and private practice. She is completing her PhD in clinical psychology at UNE, expected 2025. Alex completed her undergraduate degree in psychology at City University of New York, summa cum laude, and following a move to Australia completed H1 Honours and the Master of Professional Psychology at UNE. She is the ANZAED 2024 recipient of the Peter Beumont award for early career research in the field of eating disorders, and the 2019 Australian Psychological Society’s Elsie Harwood award recipient for research in the field of ageing. Alex has published and/or presented in the research areas of digital criminology, ageing and older adults, and child and adolescent mental health.
