I joined the School of Science and Technology as a Senior Lecturer at the University of New England, NSW, Australia in Clinical Neuroscience in 2024. I completed my undergraduate degree in Science with Honours in the Department of Pharmacology at the University of Melbourne, Australia. I then went on to complete a Doctor of Philosophy in the Department of Optometry and Vision Sciences at the University of Melbourne in 2003 and a Specialist certificate in Biomedical Research Management in 2009. After completing my PhD, I continued to work as a research fellow in the neuronal degeneration field with positions in Canada, the United States and Australia. I am a part of the Brian-Behaviour Research Group at UNE. My passion is to understand diseases that cause neuronal dysfunction and degeneration and find treatments to slow disease progression. |
