Abstract
Hen behavior on commercial farms is variable, such that some hens rarely access the range while others utilize the outdoors regularly. The relationship between fearfulness and early ranging behavior is relatively unknown. Therefore, the aim of this study was to investigate the relationships between range usage during the first four weeks of range exposure and fearfulness.
