Abstract
Images in the dataset show antibacterial assays (thin layer chromatography [TLC] bioautographies, minimum inhibitory concentration assays and disk diffusion assays) of plant extracts, essential oils, extract fractions/partitions and isolated compounds. These came from Eremophila and New England Tableland plants under antibacterial and phytochemical investigation. Images from TLC bioautography optimisation experiments are also included. As part of the phytochemical investigation, gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GCMS) data provided preliminary identification of plant extract/oil constituents. The nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy (NMR) data were used to identify and elucidate isolated or partially isolated phytochemicals. Other miscellaneous experimental data from phytochemical isolation, elucidation and characterisation efforts are included where possible, such as those from infrared (IR) spectroscopy, high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and mass spectrometry (MS).
