Abstract
The following dataset contains all of the data used within chapters 2-6 of my thesis. The dataset contains numerous types of data including: 3D models, R code, biomechanical (Finite Elemental Analysis) analysis files and all associated models, microwear imagery (solely chapter 4). The data also includes field specimen information and where those specimens are housed, geological thin section imagery, and the associated google earth and field note files. Specifics on what each folder has is presented below: Chapter 2 contains all information needed for the published article on an ankylosaur from Queensland. Includes synchrotron scans and microCT scans, as well as the associated mimics files and 3D PDF's of the models created. Chapter 3 contains all files relevant to the field project at Surat, Queensland. It contains microCT models and associated data, fieldnotes, fossil location data (Google Earth), geological thin section imagery, and a list of all collected specimens and where they are housed at UNE. Chapter 4 contains microwear imagery of Lightning Ridge sauropod teeth taken using the scanning electron microscope at UNE. Chapter 5 contains a large datasheet of sauropod tooth measurements and the associated R scripts. Chapter 6 contains 3D models of Australian sauropod teeth from Queensland and all associated biomechanical models and files utilised within this study.
