Sherrie Gavin is a PhD Candidate at the University of New England, Australia. She was born in Upstate New York, but now calls Australia home. She earned her undergraduate degree from Southern Utah University as a member of the Phi Alpha Theta history honour society. Her academic work on the Australian Relief Society has been published in the Journal of Mormon History and in Mormon Women Have Their Say: Essays from the Claremont Oral History Collection, published by Kofford Books.
In addition, she has personal essays in 'Tis the Season: A Christmas Survival Guide and Faithful Hearts: Essays and Poems Celebrating People’s Relationships with Their Pets, both published by the Writer's Cache. Her memoir, Turning Pink be published by BCC press in April 2025. |
